Health for Every Body

feel better, live longer, and become stronger

My journey & passion of holistic health began over a decade ago when my father passed away at the age of 63 to type 2 diabetes. This happened suddenly and tragically three weeks before my wedding day. My father was a man who didn’t pay any attention to his health. He led an extremely stressful life, he ate and drank what he wanted, he didn’t exercise, and didn’t take his health seriously. His approach to wellness was going to the Mayo Clinic every few years for his checkups and medication top ups and not implementing any diet or lifestyle changes that were necessary to extend his lifespan or health span. After this great loss, I suffered from depression, PTSD and had to overcome my own physical & emotional health issues.

In 2010 when I was pregnant with my first son Adrian, I suffered from cholestasis of the liver which is a form of liver disease that can lead to having a still birth child. After a very challenging pregnancy and birth, I decided that I needed to take control of my own health. Out of sheer desperation and the need to feel whole & alive again, I began reading countless books, that filled me with useful information to get me on track. I subscribed to the Weston, A Price Foundation journals and began reading books like Clean, written by; Alejandro Jungar, Super Immunity, written by; Joel Fuhrman, Medical Medium, written by; Anthony William and The Biology of Belief, written by; Bruce Lipton just to name a few. These books and journals taught me that small steps can make a big difference in the outcome of our health.

I started my own journey by slowly applying positive nutritional and lifestyle habits that I learned from the books and journals I read. I learned the foundations of nutrition and the value in the knowledge to use food as medicine to heal my body and create an environment so I could slowly and gently bring it back into balance. I incorporated small meaningful routines into my daily life, like juicing & eating whole foods, and noticed as I took these small steps my health started to uplift from a physical & emotional level. In 2014 I gave birth to my second son Sebastian, free of liver disease. I had healed my body.

I am incredibly grateful for the lessons that I have learned from these hard experiences, losing my father and my liver disease gave me the drive and passion to learn more.

In 2022, I graduated with first class honors from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, in Vancouver, Canada. I was also chosen by the graduating class across 3 campuses as the valedictorian, an honor I didn’t take lightly. English is my second language and being recognized as someone that could speak on behalf of the graduating class about topics that impacted each and every one of us in a different way was an absolute privilege.

My passion is supporting clients on their journey to feel their best by addressing the root cause of disease. I believe that all systems of the body are interconnected and we must treat the entire body, not just one bodily system.
